2. Hosting

This site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). Technically necessary server logs are processed on access. A data processing agreement is in place and transfers to the USA are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Server logs

The host automatically records data your browser sends: IP address, date/time, requested page, referrer, browser and OS. This is used solely for stable, secure operation and is not merged with other sources. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Contact & the "free first clip" form

When you submit a link to your long-form material, we process that URL and any follow-up email to create and send your free clip. It is not shared except with the services in section 5. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps) and (f). Data is deleted once the purpose is fulfilled and no retention duties remain.

5. Email delivery (Resend)

We use Resend (Resend Inc., USA) to deliver form submissions to our inbox. A data processing agreement is in place and US transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

6. Fonts

All fonts are self-hosted from our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or other third parties.

7. Analytics (Vercel Web Analytics)

We use Vercel Web Analytics for anonymous, aggregated usage measurement. It is cookieless, sets no tracking cookies, builds no cross-site profiles and stores no personal data or full IP addresses. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

8. Cookies

This site sets no consent-requiring or marketing/tracking cookies, so no cookie banner is needed.

9. Your rights

You may at any time request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and object to processing (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). Just email jan@shortz.me.
